I’LL HAVE A BLOODY MARY, A STEAK SANDWICH AAAND A STEAK SANDWICH

FAREWLL PREPARATIONS

As many of you know, I LOVE my current living arrangements.  I live with 2 friends from college (who are now married to each other, Ken & Kristin) and who have a hilarious 2 year old son and another one the way.  This June it will be 3 years that we’ve lived together in laughter, honesty, sharpening, etc.  When I first moved in we all thought I’d soon buy a place and move out, but they made it clear that they had no deadline for me and that I could stay as long as I wanted.  Turns out, we liked it so much, we just continued…and it’s been such a sweet sweet season in my life and a huge blessing from the LORD!

As is life, all great things must come to an end (ecclesiastes makes it clear that for eveything there is a season).  My roomies have always had the intention of moving to the Central Valley to be near family (as if I am not enough).  So, it seems like the LORD is answering that desire and has provided Ken with a perfect job that starts there in August, their baby is due at the end of June, and so…our house sale prep has begun and we will soon part with our longstanding and harmonious roommate ways.  I am so sad that it will end.  And, so thankful for what I’ve had.  I can write page after page about the vast and profound blessing it’s been to live with a married couple who fear the LORD, who love to laugh, who are truthful about things, who seek to be a light in a dark world, and who have shared their lives with me…but I will restrain myself to get to my other points. :)

Soooo, their moving prompts me to ‘throw a few things out there’ to the blogging community and see what happens…
1.  They need to sell their Valencia Fairways townhome (3 bedrooms, 2.5 bath, attached 2-car garage, laundry in garage) and buy a house up in the Central Valley…know any Valencia buyers?  We haven’t listed it yet and they are willing to consider a private sale (if you’re the right trustworthy buyer).  :)   If you have even the slightest bit of serious interest, call me or email me for more details.

2.  I need to move too (I doubt the new buyers will dig a ‘built-in’ roomie…but you NEVER know).  Though K&K have offered for me to continue living with them in their new place :) , for now I think I need to stay in Valencia (pronounced ‘Vuh-len-shuh’).  I have some ‘criteria’, but all in all I am excitedly and flexibly seeking the LORD’s will about this next ‘unknown’ season and excited to see where it takes me.  Eventually, I’d possibly like to engage the globe in a ‘quasi team-missions’ kind of way, but for now, I need to finish the school loans ( :) ) and position myself for the ‘unkown’ AFTER this current unknown.  So, any ideas?  Any input?  Any thoughts? hopes? dreams? Any donors looking for someone to give a well directed donation to?  What’s the word my blogger friends?

Sam, Phil and I just moved to CO and our landlord is looking for a good tenant for the 1 bedroom w/loft that we previously rented. It’s in central Valencia in the Santa Fe condo’s. Let me know if you’re interested and I’ll give you any details. Although I don’t believe he’s a Christian he likes Christian tenants. Great landlord and great location.
